With the stuff he had, he can throw the ball behind his back if he wants to.feedback

Just as far as a sinker, you don't see many as good as Blake's, and you don't see many as good as Zach's. And Zach really learned how to command it any time he wanted to and control it any time he wanted to. You can see Blake has the movement on his that he needs. It's just going to be once he gets comfortable in the closing role, just being able to command it any time in pressure situations that he wants to.feedback

You start to realize these [hitters] aren't seeing him twice in a game, they aren't seeing him three times in a game, they probably won't see him three times throughout the span of two months. With Blake, he's got a great slider. He's got a great change-up, and there may be days when the sinker's not on, that he can maybe go through that lineup without it.feedback

I have picked Schu's brain, just about the mind-set of an eight-hole hitter. It will be something where, if that is what I'm hitting, I'll enjoy because I'll be able to think through what the situation is and what my job is. In the American League, it's just kind of go up there and try to hit home runs every time.feedback

As a catcher you take whatever you can try to fix with it, you try to correct with it. At the same time, there's so many other variables that come into it. It's, okay, what can I control?' And you try to control that.feedback

I think for a tall catcher, the only thing that makes it a little bit tougher is you really got to focus on staying flexible enough. Because if you get tight, you can't low enough to give a good target. Other than that, it's still same mechanics. I don't have to do anything different than a guy that would be shorter would have to. It's just a matter of kind of keeping the levers in line. It's just a little bigger levers than the smaller guy has.feedback

Just keep moving forward. The plan is keep the body moving forward and just take it another step further each day.feedback

It's tough finding a team when you can't do anything baseball-related. They told me I was very lucky that it wasn't worse than it was.feedback

There's definitely enough time. As a catcher, I'd love to have as much as possible. Being able to listen (to the pitchers) and how they pitch will help me out a lot.feedback
