This was a long project and I never thought there would be a film based on this project, I am very happy that Grant Gee did that film, I also wrote original pages, dialogues, and texts for the film too.

The Nobel Prize did not change my life really very much. In my country it made me a more public figure than I wanted. It made me more political than I want to be, but this happens to everyone who receives a Nobel Prize, I don't think it's particularly a Turkish thing.

If Europe was taken with the spirit of enlightenment, equality and democracy, Turkey should have its place within such a peace-loving Europe.
