Last quote by Ray Wilkins

It was an atrocious tackle. He either wants to hurt Kolasinac, or he's afraid. I'll go for the latter. He saw him coming towards him and thought, wow, this fella is a giant' and he basically wet himself.feedback

Ray Wilkins quotes

You can't let him go. But with Cesc, it's just job satisfaction and he loves to play football. You can see that when he plays. He's always trying to get on the ball. It's not a money issue - he just wants to play. He will get that opportunity next year, I just hope he has the patience.feedback

I can understand Antonio's selection when he picks Matic and Kante in front of a back five.feedback

Mar 29 2017

I couldn't give a monkey's what they offer. Chelsea wish to be the best club on the planet and they're heading in the right direction. What they've done over the past 10-12 years has been nothing short of phenomenal, so if you want to be the best why sell the best? They'll never get there if they sell Eden Hazard, who has been absolutely brilliant.feedback

I would imagine Mr Abramovich would not even consider any offer that comes in. You cannot replace him. If they sell him I'll give up my season ticket. He's that important. For Chelsea to lose Hazard, who is one of the five best players on the planet, they would have to replace this guy and he is irreplaceable at this moment in time. He's a wonderfully gifted footballer and why would Chelsea want to give him up? I don't see there's any money out there. Roman Abramovich has an enormous amount of money himself.feedback

It looks a very good front page, but that's about as far as it goes.feedback

Mar 15 2017

If you look at Antonio Conte, when he was at Juventus he had [Fernando] Llorente, so he likes a big striker. So I would not put it past Chelsea to go back in for Lukaku. They sold him at £28 million, they are going to have to pay at least double [that] to get him back. They will probably have to pay £60m for him. But he would not play in front of [Diego] Costa.feedback

Mar 15 2017

I think it would be wrong for him to move.feedback

Mar 15 2017

He can develop his right side, his heading ability, this player has got a lot of scope in which to improve and I think he is at the best club to do it. He is going to start every game. If he is fit, he will start and he will play and he will score goals.feedback

Mar 15 2017 - Manchester United

You could have said Conte was disrespectful to Jose. It was just a conflict of interests, they just had a row and these things happen.feedback

Mar 15 2017 - Manchester United

Chelsea relieved him of his post. If we actually remember what he has done for our club, and I say our club because I have been a Chelsea man since I was 10 and a half, he has worked miracles there. There is no one that that can touch him at the moment. Jose will be number one until somebody wins as many trophies as Jose. When you have got two coaches on the sideline that have so much passion then you are going to have a little [confrontation].feedback

Mar 15 2017 - Manchester United

I just wish our Chelsea supporters, and I'm a Chelsea supporter, showed a little bit more class to Jose Mourinho. He is a good bloke but he is a football man, he wants his club to win. I just thought the other night against Manchester United they didn't show him the respect he merits. People will naturally be thinking: 'Hang on a second he was demonstrating stuff on the touchline against Chelsea'. Well, yes he was, but now he is employed by Manchester United.feedback

Mar 13 2017

His smiling face and shock of golden hair made him very conspicuous on the field and if it were not so official for the spectators to recognise him. Meehan could always be singled out by the deadly earnestness of his tackling, which was simply wonderful for a man of his stature.feedback
