Tyrone Mings

Last quote by Tyrone Mings

What can you do? I didn't recognise up until half-time that it was even a big deal. Because I hadn't meant to do it, I didn't feel like it would be a talking point. But I realised when [José] Mourinho came over when we were coming out for the start of the second half and started giving me some abuse, saying: 'You think you're clever. You're going to get an eight-match ban.feedback

I've got two discs at the bottom of the back that are quite badly damaged, that obviously happened over a period of time, and there's inflammation on one of the vertebrae as well, which has come from the angle of my pelvis and spine. It's disappointing and not what I was expecting because I felt like everything was going in the right direction. But it's also nothing more than I've dealt with before.”. But I came out of it the other end, had a bit of a run in the team last year and feel like I am in a good place now. I am over the moon to be staying.feedback

Mar 10 2017

It is an action that would not be acceptable in any walk of life, let alone on a football pitch, and one that would never cross my mind. I would like to thank Bournemouth and all the club's fans for their unwavering support this week.feedback

Mar 10 2017

I am extremely disappointed at the FA's decision to ban me for five matches following what was an accidental collision with Zlatan Ibrahimovic. At no time was there any intentional stamp or a movement to suggest that. My foot did not change course and at no point did I try and move my foot towards his head. My only focus was to get back in and defend, conduct like that is not part of my game. So for people to deem that I could intentionally stamp on a fellow professional's head is upsetting.feedback

I can't wait to get back to playing again and help the team retain our Premier League status for another season.feedback

Mar 05 2017 - Manchester United

If he says he didn't mean it, then he didn't mean it. That's fine. If I caught him, I caught him. It wasn't intentional. It's a big jump if you are asking me to jump over two people.feedback

Mar 05 2017 - Manchester United

I jumped over another player and I'm not even looking at him, it's an unfortunate situation that will be probably be blown up a little on social media. No, obviously I didn't mean to do it.feedback

Mar 05 2017 - Manchester United

I didn't see much of that one either. I've looked back on it, it's a physical game and whether there's intent from him or not I don't know. It was a good battle and certainly one that I enjoyed. I think I did as well as any defender will do this year, he's shown what he can do over his career. He's a big, strong and physical person to play against but he also possesses the quality that can unlock you at any time. I've seen it back there and I don't think it looks obvious at all.feedback

Mar 04 2017 - Manchester United

Not at all, I would never do that. Hard and fair is how I like to tackle but I don't get involved in off the ball stuff. It was maybe an elbow, I didn't see it but I felt it.feedback

Mar 04 2017 - Manchester United

No, [I didn't mean to stand on his head] not at all. I would never do that - that's not in my game. Hard and fair is how i like to tackle. Off the ball, stuff like that is not in my game.feedback
